Recent prizes and awards given to SAYA and its members:

2012 Karen Lee Bar-Sinai selected as a Loeb Fellow at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design

2012 SAYA announced winner of the Israeli Design Awards, awarded for “Recycling Park”

2010 SAYA’s poroposal – “Fields of Memory” – for the Atlantic City Boardwalk Holocaust Memorial wins 2nd prize in a three-phase open international competition for selecting a design for the city’s prominent boardwalk. The competition attracted 712 entries from around the world, and the distinguished jury included: Daniel Libeskind, Richard Meier, Michael Berenbaum, Clifford Chanin, Wendy Evans Joseph, and James E. Young.

2009 40/40 Yehuda Greenfield-Gilat and Karen Lee Bar-Sinai were selected for Israel’s Emerging Young Architects Award. The award was given to 40 architects under the age of 40 operating in Israel in the realms of Architecture, Planning and Urban Design

2008-9 E. David Fischman Award-Given to Yehuda Greenfield-Gilat for personal and academic achievements.

2007 S.Daniel Abraham Award-Given to Yehuda Greenfield-Gilat for supporting Graduate education in his field at the Harvard Kennedy School of Governance.

2006 The British Chevening Award- Given to Karen Lee Bar-Sinai by the British Council for personal achievements and for supporting her Graduate studies at LSE (The London School of Economics, UK).

2006 AICF (America-Israel Cultural Foundation) award- Supporting promising Israeli artists and architects awarded to Karen Lee Bar-Sinai

2005 Reiskin Prize- given annually in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion (May 2005). Awarded SAYA’s project team- Aya Shapira, Karen Lee Bar-Sinai and Yehuda Greenfiled-Gilat, for their proposal for a border terminal in Jerusalem’s
