SAYA’s work included in a Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program Report: Opportunities for Cross-Sector Collaboration and Peace-Building in Israel and Palestine

SAYA was included in a Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program Report for the OneVoice Movement:

OPPORTUNITIES FOR CROSS-SECTOR COLLABORATION AND PEACE-BUILDING IN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE

“SAYA, an architectural firm, is one example of an organization devoted to increasing the role of professionals in the peace process. SAYA leverages their experience and training as architects to design potential infrastructure for specific border sites in a way that serves and joins the communities. Their goal is to help individuals visualize concretely how the borders might actually look and how a peaceful resolution may serve their interests and build a healthy community. They also create tools for the general public, such as their “peace mapping” tool, which gives individuals the power to design their own borders in meaningful ways. SAYA provides these tools as a way to “crowd-source” aspects of the peace agreement. These tools serve to promote separate goals of (1) engaging the public in matters of shared interest, and (2) allowing individuals to grasp and visualize how a peaceful resolution may impact their lives.”
