About Joy and Urban Design | lecture by Karen Lee Bar-Sinai

Karen Lee Bar-Sinai will map the role of urban design as a catalyst for joy in our cities. The lecture will explore a typology of happiness-generators and tactics that have sparked positive change and joyful gatherings through the use of design.

The lecture will be given as part of the course “Designing Happy Places: How Art, Policy and Urban Design can reshape our cities”  Taught by LZ Nunn, David Glick and Karen Lee Bar-Sinai, The Harvard Graduate School of Design.
